Now you are ready to use the Authenticator process.
Once the first set up for the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), has been finalized the log in will be done very easily in three steps:

Check your email
You will receive an email containing a secure link . Click on the link to start the set up process (including password creation and Multi-Factor Authentication).

Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Select your preferred MFA method: Authenticator App (recomended), email, SMS or voice call.
Supported MFA methods:
Authenticator App (Highly Recommended)
Install an authentication app on your mobile device.
Recommended apps: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.
Generates a 6-digit OTP for secure login.Email

Receive a voice call with a 6-digit OTP.
Access the HBX Group new Partner Portal
It is recommended mark or safe the link as favorite toolbar.

Second Level – 2FA
After entering credentials, users are required to provide the One-Time Password (OTP) — a 6-digit numeric code generated by an authentication app, SMS or Phone call.
In order to log in for the first time you will need to generate a new password. Access HBX Partner Portal and follow these steps:
Follow the steps to get started , IMPORTANT: You must create a new password. This step is mandatory, even if you know your current password.
If you already had an account with us, use the same email that you used for the former portal (MaxiRoom).
Using 2FA on Your PC Without a Mobile Phone
If you do not have a work mobile and need to receive 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) codes, you can use your desktop browser as an alternative. Please keep in mind the following:
Security considerations:
- Authenticator extensions are convenient but carry security risks.
- Ensure your browser profile is secure (use strong passwords, enable sync only on trusted devices).
- A compromised browser profile can expose your 2FA codes—never share your browser account credentials.

You can use your preffered browser Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Safari.

Install the extension of your choice
Click on "Get" or "Add"

To complete the process:
- Click the link in the email.
- Enter and confirm the new password.
- Configure your Multi-Factor Authenticator.
Once logged, select a hotel from the list, and start navigating!

Use the OTP Code
- The extension will display a One-Time Password (OTP).
- Enter this code when prompted to complete login.
Change MFA method
Step by step guide to change the default Multi-Factor Authenticator method (MFA):

Then go to Two factor authentication (2FA)

Enter your current One-Time password (OTP)
An email with a link will be sent to the users registered email. The link will expire within 12 hours

Click on your username
Located at the top right part.

Choose one of the 4 option listed that better suites you
- Authenticator App (Recommended & Default)
Generates a 6-digit OTP for secure login.
Works with apps like Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc. * Please, note that downloading the Authenticator app in the computer is never recommended due to possible secutiry problems. - Email
OTP sent via email - SMS
A one-time password (OTP) is sent via text message to your mobile phone.
OTP is valid for 15 seconds. - Phone Call
You receive a voice call (mobile or landline) with the OTP.
Set Up Your Account: Click Scan QR Code Go to HBX Partner Portal and select the code to scan. After scanning, your account will be recognized.
HBX strongly recommends using an authentication app on a mobile device for MFA.
If you choose less recommended or not recommended options (such as browser extensions or PC-based authentication), you acknowledge and accept that these methods carry higher security risks.
HBX will not be liable for any unauthorized access, data breaches, or losses resulting from the use of these alternative methods.
